IDAS in the Alps

This is the view from IDAS. One photo is from the airport, the other from breakfast. It's my first full day of the International Debate Academy Slovenia, and it looks as if it's going to be great. Of course, the thing about this workshop is how incredibly busy it is. There are about 104 students attending and 13 instructors. The day is full of debating practice and events. It's been a couple of years since I've taught here so getting back in the groove might be challenging. Yesterday my jet lag was non-existent so I jumped right into a practice debate on the funding of religious schools. Today there are 2 practices, 3 instructional sessions, and a lot in between. Plenty more to come!
